Barbra Streisand Raises Support for Israeli Soldiers

Barbra Streisand will take part in an annual gala in Los Angeles, honoring the Jewish state of Israel. The legendary singer   and actress rarely performs in such events, but this year will honor Israel on December 8th at the Hyatt Regency  Century Plaza.  Last year, this gala hosted by the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, raised $8.8 million to support a    variety of programs for Israeli soldiers.
