Over 1250 Rockets Fired Towards Israel

Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) rocket fire and Israeli Defense Force (IDF) strikes continued throughout Shabbat (Saturday).

Another PIJ terrorist leader was eliminated by the IDF last night (making a total of 4). Over 380 PIJ terror targets were struck by the IDF over the past few days.

Magan David Adom (like the Red Cross in the USA) reported a total of 2 killed, 7 wounded from rocket attacks in Israel; 18 hurt while running to shelter; and 44 treated for severe anxiety. The second death from rocket shrapnel in Israel was actually a shepherd from Gaza working near Shokeda.

A ceasefire was supposedly agreed upon to begin at 10 PM last night, but rockets kept bombarding Southern Israel, so the IDF started up airstrikes against Gaza again now. No rockets were fired after 11:12 PM so perhaps the ceasefire is holding?

How does Israel treat their enemies the day after a major conflict? This morning (Sunday), the Kerem Shalom and Erez crossings reopened to allow humanitarian aid from Israel into Gaza.

This happens every time. The State of Israel cares much more about Gaza civilians than their terrorist leadership does.

Song For Israel has donated nine bomb shelters in Israel which cost $26,800 each. We have collected $2,030 toward our tenth on to help save lives in Israel. Will you contribute? There are many who have no shelter to run to. Most of our shelters have been placed in schools near Gaza or the northern border. To learn more about our bomb shelter projects, click here.
