Tu BiShvat Holiday - Trees for Israel Campaign

The “new year for trees” has a special set of meaningful customs.

Tu Bishvat is the Jewish holiday that begins on the evening of February 1 and ends the evening of February 2. It is a celebration of the “new year for trees”. It has its own special set of meaningful and long-standing customs and traditions. Tu Bishvat is considered a ‘minor holiday’. It is also a day to show appreciation to the environment and the world.

During the war, many trees were burned by either direct hits from rockets or incendiary devices that were sent from Hamas and Hezbollah. Many areas of Israel are forest and farmland. The war has left the land in ruins in some areas. Now is a great time to help Israel with their reforesting.

We are accepting donations for $18 per tree or 10 trees for $100. Our campaign is ongoing and we send a one-time donation to Israel after they celebrate This holiday, Tu B'Shvat or Tu BiShvat - known as the new year for trees. To make a donation, visit our donation page (click here) and then designate that you would like your gift to pay for trees. Thank you!
