Day 7 - Israel land Iran at War - "Operation Rising Lion"

Today is day 7 in the war, which Israel is calling “Operation Rising Lion.” It was Prime Minister Netanyahu who placed a note in a crack at the Western Wall (Kotel) on Thursday, June 12th — one week ago today—before the war began. That note quoted Numbers 23:23:

“Look, a nation like a lioness will rise up, and like a lion he raises himself.”

The lion is symbolic of the tribe of Judah, the line of the Messiah, but the Prime Minister may have also had in mind another significance.

The Iranian red, white and green flag exists in two versions: One represents the Islamic regime with the red symbol which represents the name “Allah” written in Arabic and also symbolizes the value of being a martyr for the jihadi cause. The other flag shows a lion and a sun, from the time of the Shah before the Islamic takeover in 1978-9…a day in which the people of Iran wish to return. Could Netanyahu have been thinking about a regime change to help the people of

The Iranian regime is the number one sponsor of global terror, using proxies to carry out its diabolical will through efforts in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and the Palestinian Territories. Most of those proxies have been cut off, or at least incapacitated to a large degree, over the last year and a half as Israel has been forced to battle all these terror groups on every side.

The war between Israel and Iran is actually not a new war. It has been going on for quite a long time. When you think of the October 7, 2023 war with Hamas, you think of Iran funding that war as Hamas (the word “Hamas” in Hebrew translates to “violence”) is funded by Iran.

Israel has been very strategic. They have basically won the war in Gaza, taking over a majority of the land and the terrorist leaders. Iran has funded the wars in Syria and Lebanon, but it does not seem much of a threat today. After minimizing Iran’s proxies, Israel decided to attack the main cause of terrorism in the Middle East — Iran.

However, this war is different from the war in Gaza. In Gaza, Israel has warned the civilians time and again to leave the areas to be bombed and has provided food for them at the same time. What is left now are terrorists, who must be eliminated. In Iran, many have misunderstood who the people of Iran are. The majority of the people in Iran (approximately 70%) are innocent civilians who have been forced to come under an evil regime. They desperately want to be rescued from the evil regime. Since the majority of the Iranian leadership has now been eliminated (with only the Ayatollah Khomeini remaining) and most of the nuclear sites destroyed, there is an opportunity for regime change. At this point, it appears that the Ayatollah has two choices: 1) Leave Iran or 2) Face elimination. I believe the war has gone too far for him to remain.

It is not Israel’s desire to eliminate civilians and when you look carefully at what has been destroyed in Iran, Israel’s moves have been decisive without attempts to hurt any civilians. Unlike, Iran — yesterday they made a direct hit on a large hospital in the south of Israel.

Not only has a hospital been struck, but many civilian apartments and buildings have been hit in Israel. Only those headed for “safe rooms” or “bomb shelters” have been safe. However, there are not enough shelters in all of Israel to save everyone.

Song For Israel has been asked to help. We have been collecting donations to provide more shelters. So far, we have supplied 12 shelters to help save lives in Israel. Each shelter costs approximately $30,000. At this moment, we have $5,200 toward bomb shelter #13. Can you help? Even a small donation helps as any amount adds us and helps us reach the goal for one more shelter.
