Gideon’s Springs is where God told Gideon to reduce the number of men in his army. God wanted credit for the win. Too many times we move forward, thinking numbers are important…we might decide if an event is a success by how many people attended…we may think that a project is a win just because money was donated. However, to God, it is our hearts that are important. He wants our obedience and he asked Gideon to do some very strange things to ensure that Gideon and his men would KNOW, without a doubt, that the win they experienced was because of God and not the numbers.
